Summer is in full swing, and we're back with an amazing partnership for our July charity drive! This month, we're teaming up with Cherie the Surf Dog to release a limited-edition summer-themed bandana. And the best part? All proceeds from this surf-tacular accessory go directly to the French Bulldog Rescue Network!
Can you tell we're excited?!
The Limited Edition "Cherie the Surf Dog" Bandana
In collaboration with Cherie the Surf Dog and the French Bulldog Rescue Network, Frenchie Bulldog Pet Supply is delighted to unveil the limited-edition "Cherie the Surf Dog" Bandana.
This adorable summer accessory is perfect for dogs in and out of the water -- the surf board design brings up all our favorite summer memories, while the bright colors show off your pup's good side in every photo.
Until the end of July or until we sell out, all proceeds from this limited edition bandana will go directly to the French Bulldog Rescue Network, an organization near and dear to our hearts -- and Cherie's!
Who is Cherie the Surf Dog?
Cherie is a French bulldog from Newport Beach, California with an AMAZING adoption story. In 2011, a family from Texas surrendered baby Cherie to the French Bulldog Rescue Network (FBRN).
In most cases, a pup like Cherie would be sold on Craigslist to the highest bidder. But when Cherie ended up with FBRN, she made her way to southern California and found her forever family, pup parents Amy and Dan and her little brother Ace.
However, Cherie is not like other French bulldogs. Amy and Dan quickly realized that Cherie couldn't get enough of the ocean -- and her love for the water turned into a love for surfing as soon as the family signed her up for lessons! Today, Cherie surfs in pup competitions and charity events, raising money for FBRN and other organizations that find forever homes for lucky dogs.
Since 2013, Cherie and her family have raised more than $13,000 -- and we at Frenchie Bulldog Pet Supply are delighted to be part of the next #TeamCherie campaign!
What is the French Bulldog Rescue Network?
The French Bulldog Rescue Network (FBRN) is an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming French bulldogs all over the United States. FBRN rescues dogs from commercial breeding kennels, import brokers, public shelters, private rescue groups, owners, and Good Samaritans looking out for dogs' best interests.
Supported by an all-volunteer network of organizers and fosters across the country, FBRN works to provide education and training for dogs and humans alike, placing healthy and happy French bulldogs into as many forever homes as possible.
Cherie's story is the quintessential FBRN happy ending: A French bulldog from a rough situation who was able to turn things around, find her forever family, and thrive! Because FBRN is entirely volunteer-run, their organization HUGELY benefits from donations and partnerships of all kinds -- and that's why the Frenchie team is so excited to get involved.
How can I get involved?
For all of July (or until our amazing community clears our stock of bandanas), proceeds from the limited edition Cherie the Surf Dog Bandana will go straight to FBRN. The best way you can help is to buy a bandana!
Otherwise, volunteering, donating, and sharing the mission of the French Bulldog Rescue Network are all wonderful ways to get the word out about this incredible organization. FBRN also offers a "donate by phone" option: To get started, text FRENCHIE to 44321!
As always, we are delighted to team up with our charity partners, and we're so excited that we could get in on the action with such a fun-loving character like Cherie!
Cowabunga!
